For those wondering what it’s like to live like Justin Hartley’s character Colter Shaw on Tracker — Us has you covered!
Us Weekly got the chance to experience an exclusive overnight stay in the Catskills inspired by Hartley’s hit CBS show. The event, a partnership with AutoCamp, featured a unique stay at a luxury campground with activities based on Tracker. Based on Jeffery Deaver’s novel The Never Game, the procedural show premiered in February after Super Bowl LVIII and immediately gained an audience as people tuned in weekly to watch their favorite fictional survivor aka Colter travel across the country to help solve missing persons cases, track down information on criminal cases, and more.
Following the show’s first season finale, viewership numbers confirmed that Tracker was the most-watched scripted series of the 2023-24 television season. The show was quickly renewed for a second season, introducing new cases for Colter to solve. Season 2, which premiered earlier this month, has already earned the title of the most-watched TV show of the fall after seeing a nearly 10 percent increase in viewership over the season 1 finale, with a total of 8.3 million viewers.
The attraction has been the missing cases Colter takes on, which also feature a star-studded cast including Hartley’s wife Sofia Pernas, Jensen Ackles, Melissa Roxburgh, Jennifer Morrison, and many other familiar faces.
The CBS tour has given us a glimpse into what life as Tracker is really like, and we’ve rounded up the highlights for fans of the show: Colter is always up for a challenge, whether it’s rescuing a hiker in Nevada or diving deep into the Idaho wilderness to search for a missing plane. We got a taste of that adventure right in the heart of upstate New York at AutoCamp Catskills.
