Martha Stewart has made it clear that she has no interest in joining the cast of The Golden Bachelorette. The culinary icon recently shot down the idea during a playful appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, where she appeared alongside her longtime friend, Snoop Dogg.
When host Andy Cohen posed the question of whether she would consider starring in the dating reality series, Stewart’s response was unequivocal. “Absolutely not,” she declared from behind the bar, emphasizing her disinterest.
Cohen probed further, asking if a significant paycheck might change her mind. He suggested figures like $1 million or even $10 million per episode. However, Stewart remained firm, explaining that even those enticing offers wouldn’t be enough to sway her. “The guys aren’t hot enough,” she stated matter-of-factly, underscoring her standards when it comes to romance.
Snoop Dogg chimed in, adding a humorous twist: “So it ain’t about the money, it’s about how hot the guys are. She said, 10 million can’t get it if he don’t look right.”
The Golden Bachelorette is a spin-off of The Bachelorette, featuring older contestants seeking love. The current season stars Joan Vassos, a 61-year-old widow and private school administrator from Maryland, who previously appeared on The Golden Bachelor. Vassos left the show after just three weeks due to a family emergency.
Recently, Stewart has been in the spotlight promoting her upcoming Netflix documentary, Martha, which is set to premiere on October 30. Directed by RJ Cutler, the film chronicles Stewart’s remarkable journey—from her rise to fame and her criminal conviction to her incredible comeback after serving time in prison.
