The Legendary Chair: The Sopranos Finale Diner Chair Up for Auction

Now you can own a piece of iconic TV history—if you have a few thousand dollars to spend, that is.

More than 16 years after the series finale of The Sopranos left viewers wondering if their TVs would suddenly turn off, New Jersey restaurant Holsten’s is auctioning off the booth where Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), Carmela (Edie Falco), and A.J. (Robert Iler) sat down to eat during the show’s final moments. EW has confirmed with the restaurant that the eBay listing is real.

“We are currently renovating our booths at Holsten’s,” the listing reads. “This is your once-in-a-lifetime chance to own the original booth where the Sopranos Family sat in the final scene of this iconic show!”

Holsten’s has never been secretive about its connection to The Sopranos finale. In fact, the filming location is listed in the Google Maps description of the restaurant, and the booth in question is adorned with a sign that reads “Reserved for the Sopranos.” That sign is included in the purchase, along with both seats, the table itself, and the dividing wall. But for those who want to recreate the Sopranos’ experience of listening to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” in the booth, you’ll have to provide your own music. The jukebox is not included in the sale. But it’s hard to imagine a better place to sit while debating with friends and family whether or not the show ends with Tony’s death, which is open until 10 p.m. on Monday, March 4. As of this writing, there have been 116 bids, so demand is high!
