A woman took to social media to show off her oversized shower cap and ended up being compared to a Bridgerton icon.
Dalal, an automotive designer from San Diego who posts online as @delshk, often shares content about her career and image in the industry. But sometimes, she delights her followers with humorous clips that make them laugh.
In one such video, which has received more than 133,000 likes on TikTok, Dalal showed fans what her oversized shower cap looks like when she wears it to cover her curly hair. “Let me show you my shower cap,” she wrote.
When she zoomed out to reveal its full size, she humorously added in the caption, “What do I need all this for?” Fans were quick to draw comparisons to Queen Charlotte, the popular character in Netflix’s Bridgerton.
One user commented, “It’s giving Queen Charlotte,” while another wrote, “It just keeps going.” Another joked, “Queen Charlotte: ‘This is spectacular! Give me 14 now.'” Queen Charlotte, played by Golda Rosheuvel, is known for her extravagant wigs and cheeky personality. Her character is so beloved that Netflix is releasing a spin-off series in 2023, telling the love story between her and King George III, with India Amarteifio and Corey Mylchreest playing the younger couple.
This comes after Golda Rosheuvel, 53, exclusively told Express.co.uk at Queen Charlotte’s garden party in London that while she “couldn’t pick” a favourite dress from the series, she could identify her favourite royal.
She declared: “William and Kate’s little boy George should have his own spin-off.” The actress had a moment of sudden realisation while standing next to Corey Mylchreest, who plays a young King George III in the new series, exclaiming: “George! That’s hilarious!”
Rosheuvel continued: “There’s this amazing kid from Ireland on Instagram, I can’t remember his name because it’s his mum’s Instagram, but he should play (Prince George). He’s amazing!” However, Bridgerton author Julia Quinn had another royal in mind.
