SEAL Team’s David Boreanaz ‘Considering’ Returning to Classic Show After Final Season
SEAL Team star David Boreanaz has starred in some of the most iconic shows of all time, and he may be returning to one of them in the near future.

He’s perhaps best known for his role as Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off series, and also plays Seeley Booth on the hit crime series Bones.

The legendary TV star recently wrapped up his seven-season run on the CBS and Paramount+ drama, in which he played Jason Hayes, the leader of Bravo Team.

Following the show’s emotional finale, which aired last Sunday (October 6), David got fans excited by teasing the possibility of playing Seeley again in a Bones reboot.

While nothing has been confirmed, he revealed that he is “considering” the idea, despite previously stating that he wants to look forward rather than back to the past in his career.

“Nothing has really changed,” he explained. “When I really look at it, it’s the kind of show that’s beloved and engaging, and I don’t want to say pointless, but pointless entertainment when you really think about it.

“The dynamic between these two characters is really fun to play, and if there’s happiness and joy in it, then it’s easy; it’s not hard or difficult.”

Bones originally aired for a staggering 12 seasons, and David has been candid about the idea of a reboot “obviously” being a limited series.

He added that while he’s not focused on it right now, it’s definitely something he would “consider.”

David also shared how much he misses acting with his co-star of over a decade, Emily Deschanel, who plays the brilliant forensic anthropologist Temperance ‘Bones’ Brennan.

“I miss her sunshine, her smile, she would push the boundaries of a scene,” he recalled.

“I don’t think I was ever angry with Emily. It was just an energetic thing, and I miss her a lot. I speak very fondly of her, and we still talk.”

Meanwhile, the star has had some free time after his Bravo Team days.

He doesn’t have any upcoming projects listed at the moment, so watch this space to see if his next role is something completely unexpected or a little more familiar.
