‘9-1-1’ Heroic Star Angela Bassett Makes Spectacular Plane Landing in Thrilling Episode
Los Angeles, CA – In a breathtaking episode of the hit TV series ‘9-1-1,’ veteran actress Angela Bassett gave the performance of a lifetime as her character, Sergeant Athena Grant, miraculously landed a passenger plane on a Los Angeles freeway.

It was so much fun to see the experience through their eyes.”
In a climactic scene that was made into the TV series, Athena lands the plane on Highway 110, bringing it to a stop right in front of Bobby, who is standing on a fire truck.
