Congratulations are in order for one special agent at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. NCIS alum Emily Wickersham, who played NCIS Special Agent Eleanor Bishop, is married. The actor, who starred on the CBS drama series from Season 11 to 18, announced that she and her husband, James Badge Dale, had gotten married in an Instagram post. Their wedding date was September 27, 2024.

For the wedding, both Wickersham and Dale kept it casual in white T-shirts and light blue jeans. Dale also wore a flower on his T-shirt as a boutonniere, while Wickersham later put on a yellow button-up shirt and a pair of sunglasses and held a bouquet of calla lillies for their wedding photos. “9•27•24,” she captioned the Instagram post. Dale shared the same photos on his Instagram with the same caption.

The wedding also came less than a month after Wickersham announced that she and Dale were expecting their second child. “Taxi for (number) two,” she captioned an Instagram post of her pregnant baby bump. The two welcomed their first child, a son named Cassius, in 2021.

Who’s Emily Wickersham’s husband?

Wickersham’s husband, James Badge Dale, is also an actor. One of Dale’s most notable roles is as John Dutton Sr. in the Yellowstone prequel, 1923. He’s also starred in TV shows like CSI: NY, CSI: Miami, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, 24, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Ramy. On the film side, he’s appeared in movies like World War Z, Iron Man 3, Flight, and The Grey.

Per his IMDb, Dale was born on May 1, 1978 in New York City, where he and Wickersham also currently live. Prior to her relationship with Dale, Wickersham — who is also the great-granddaughter of NFL player Isadore Anderson — was married to musician Blake Hanley from 2010 to 2018.

In May 2022, Dale shared an Instagram post for Mother’s Day in honor of Wickersham. “Everyday I see you Inspired by you Wake up to you Walk this earth for you Your strength Your kindness Your depth of vision You move I move We move Happy First Mother’s Day @emilywickersham,” he captioned the post.

In a previous interview on the podcast, “Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch,” Wickersham dispelled the misconception that she had left NCIS because of her pregnancy with Cassius. “I left the show, I found out I was pregnant a month later,” she said.

Wickersham honored her time on NCIS in an Instagram post in May 2021 celebrating her final episode. “Hangin this hat and jacket up. What a great ride it’s been. This cast, this crew, are top notch. I can’t say enough kind words about this group that I’ve had the pleasure of working with for close to 8 years now and 172 episodes later,” she wrote. “This business is finicky and weird and consistency is a rarity. I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of a show where I got to show up and act and laugh and learn with wonderful people. A moment in time I surely won’t forget. Thank you CBS and NCIS for including me in a part of television history. Time goes fast. Eat it up but chew slowly. ❤️ #ncis #cbs”
