‘Golden Bachelorette’: Dan made last out in kickball. Is he ‘out’ for good? (spoilers)

Dan Roemer did not appear as much on “The Golden Bachelorette” as last week, when he enjoyed a one-on-one date.

Yet the Naples bachelor played an interesting role Wednesday night as he seeks to win the heart of Joan Vassos, the Golden Bachelorette.

No first date for Dan on episode 3
Joan chose Pascal, who owns a Chicago salon, for the first date of the night. The two left behind other bachelors in a red Porsche convertible, then jetted off to Las Vegas where Wayne Newton serenaded them as they danced.

The night ended with Joan giving Pascal a rose, meaning he moves on to episode four.

Dan goes on group date

“Let’s play the field together. Love Joan,” she wrote in inviting Dan and others to a football field with NFL legends Eric Dickeson and Ande Reed. They competed in the Quaker Oats Kickbowl, where two teams competed in baseball-style kickball.

Dan, 64, president and founder of a Naples sales/marketing management firm, was on the red team that lost, and was the final out in the three-inning game.

“Everyone got some things that needed to be worked out,” Dan said afterward, of Joan bringing massage therapists to tend to aching kickbowl players like himself and others.

So did Dan get a rose?

Earlier Wednesday, Dan posted on his Instagram wearing a wine-colored blazer: “You won’t want to miss tonight’s episode of the Golden Bachelorette!”

It wasn’t the same attire he wore during the rose ceremony at the end of episode three. The last half-hour began with Joan opening up about personal issues going on with her.

“She released a lot of pain right there with all of us, an incredible moment,” Dan said to the other men as Joan left to talk with Chock, a contestant from Wichita, Kansas.

In the show’s final moments, Joan handed Dan a rose so he moves on in “The Golden Bachelorette.”
