Iain Armitage is only 15 and already has more money than I ever will
The Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon has been a worldwide success. It gave a fuller backstory to the character of Sheldon Cooper and became one of the most-watched shows on television in season one. It doing so, the Young Sheldon cast were shot into stardom and huge net worths for all of them came in hand with it.
The Big Bang Theory’s success is undoubtable. It ran for 12 seasons and led to not one but two spin-offs with Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage to be airing soon. Young Sheldon itself ran for seven seasons and was known to be a sure-fire success.
According to The Richest, the net worths of the Young Sheldon cast members are well in the millions. Here is the ranking of the net worths of the cast of Young Sheldon, from the lowest (an amount I’d take any day) to the incredibly high.
Raegan Revord – $350,000
Raegan Revord plays the fan-favourite Melissa “Missy” Cooper, who lives in the shadow of her genius twin brother, Sheldon. Her emotional intelligence and witty sarcasm create a comical balance to the dry, straightforward Sheldon.

Not only is she an actor, but an author, too. She is debuting her YA novel Rules for Fake Girlfriends, which will be published by Wednesday Books in autumn 2025.
Zoe Perry – $600,000
Next, we have Zoe Perry, who takes the role of sweet, church-going Mary Cooper, the mother of Young Sheldon. When she is not cleaning up Sheldon’s messes and preaching the church’s practices, Perry can be found in TV shows such as Liv and Maddie, Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, and Law and Order: Criminal Intent.
Lance Barber – $1 million
Lance Barber plays George Cooper, the father of Sheldon Cooper and a hard-working high-school football coach. He spends much of his time on screen with a beer in hand, fighting with his mother-in-law, and figuring out his fickle marriage.
Barber is recognised for his performances in films such as The Godfather of Green Bay, Shades of Ray, and For Your Consideration, as well as TV shows like Gilmore Girls, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and How I Met Your Mother.
Matt Hobby – $1.5 million
Portraying Pastor Jeff Hodgkins-Difford, Matt Hobby is a recurring presence of religious guidance and judgement to the Cooper family. He can also be found in TV shows such as Fresh off the Boat, Don’t Trust the B**** in Apartment 23, and Mom.
Hobby is also a comedian. In 2022, he and co-host Joe Schiappa started the popular podcast Pay or Request. They might not be Missy and Sheldon, but he, too, has twins with actress Mary Grill.
Montana Jordan – $2 million
Born and raised in Texas, Montana Jordan is best known for his role as Georgie Cooper, Sheldon’s older brother. Not only does he grow from a childish kid to a high-school dropout, to the more responsible, new father in the series, but Jordan’s character will continue to grow in the Young Sheldon spin-off Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage, where he plays a leading role.
His first role was in the 2018 film The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter, in which Josh Brolin played his father, and Danny McBride played his friend. He indeed has a lot more to come!
Iain Armitage – $6 million
Taking on the younger role of the infamous Sheldon Cooper is challenging for such a character. Still, Iain Armitage has perfectly encapsulated the obnoxious superiority and bluntness of the beloved genius character, heightened by his young age.
Despite his young age, he has appeared in two seasons of Big Little Lies and has been involved in voice acting for films such as PAW Patrol: The Movie, Scoob!, and Scoob! Holiday Haunt.
He has welcomed the idea of returning to the Young Sheldon universe, telling TVLine that he would be “honoured” to do so and that it would be “so much fun.” He is also excited to enjoy the series as a fan.
Wallace Shawn – $8 million
via ABC
Wallace Shawn, who plays the lovable Professor Sturgis in Young Sheldon, is a multi-talented actor, playwright, essayist, and voice actor. He is well-known for his roles as Vizzini in The Princess Bride, Mr. Hall in Clueless, Cyrus Rose in Gossip Girl, and Rex in The Toy Story franchise, among many others.
Not only has he been around the longest, but he arguably has one of the cast’s most impressive and varied careers.
Annie Potts – $8 milli#on
Another impressive casting is Annie Potts, who plays the comedic Connie “Meemaw” Tucker in Young Sheldon. She has gained recognition for her roles in Ghostbusters, Pretty in Pink, and Corvette Summer, among many others. Like Shawn, she also voices a character from The Toy Story franchise, Bo Peep.
She has left an enduring impact on the entertainment industry with her outstanding contributions and awards, as well as her many nominations, such as two Critics Choice Awards nominations for Young Sheldon, a Primetime Emmy, and a Golden Globe.
Jim Parsons – $160 million
It goes without saying that Jim Parsons, playing the older Sheldon in the astronomically popular series The Big Bang Theory, did an incredible performance. However, he also brought a sweet continuity between the shows, acting as the narrator for Young Sheldon.
He has appeared in several prominent films such as Hidden Figures, had a long career in theatre and has also done lots of work voice acting in The Muppets Movie and Home, alongside Rihanna, to highlight a couple.
Earning over $1 million per episode by the end of The Big Bang Theory, most of his income was likely due to the show’s spectacular success.
