“Chicago Fire Season 13: New Faces and Familiar Heroes – A Complete Cast & Character Guide”

After losing two main cast members in season 12, the Chicago Fire season 13 cast has added a few new names, but the majority of the roster is made up of actors reprising their established roles from the series. The NBC procedural drama centers on the firefighters and paramedics who work at Firehouse 51 in Chicago, Illinois. Many characters have come and gone from the firehouse over the years, and several original Chicago Fire cast members are no longer with the show. Going into season 13, only four Chicago Fire cast members from season 1 remain in the cast. Chicago Fire season 13 picks up six weeks after the events of the season 12 finale, and there’s a new sheriff in town. As some may recall, Boden has chosen Herrmann as his successor. Instead, Boden’s replacement in Chicago Fire season 13 is someone from outside of Firehouse 51, meaning there’s a new addition to the main cast of the procedural drama who’s the new leader of the other characters.

Who: Taylor Kinney was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he attended high school before studying Business Management at West Virginia University. It’s unclear when he transitioned to acting, but Kinney first appeared in television in 2006 when he was 25. Kinney played Luke Gianni in Fashion House, a late-night drama series on MyNetworkTV, which is considered his breakout role. However, Kinney really rose to fame when he debuted as Kelly Severide on NBC’s Chicago Fire in 2012. The character: Kelly Severide has been on Firehouse 51 since the Chicago Fire series debuted. Over the course of several seasons, he’s been through a lot of heartache, a lot of joy, and everything in between. Kinney returns as Severide on Chicago Fire season 13 and unfortunately, he has a lot of problems this season. Severide is adjusting to the fact that he has a half-brother (Jack Damon) that he has never met until now. Plus, Severide and Kidd’s marriage is still on the rocks.

Actress: Miranda Rae Mayo was born in Fresno, California, and she started acting at a young age. Mayo would perform in school plays before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a modeling and acting career. She first appeared on television as a guest star on Law & Order: LA in 2011. Mayo continued to have guest and supporting roles on various shows before landing the role of Stella Kidd on Chicago Fire in 2016, starting as a supporting character in season 4 before being promoted to a main role in season 5. The actor: David Eigenberg was born in Manhasset, New York, but grew up in Naperville, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. After graduating from high school, Eigenberg served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve for three years. He returned home to pursue an acting career. Eigenberg had small television roles here and there before he rose to fame playing Steve Brady, Miranda Hobbes’s main love interest, on Sex and the City. Character: As mentioned above, Boden told Christopher Herrmann that he wanted him to replace him as the leader of Firehouse 51 in the finale of Chicago Fire season 12. However, when season 13 premiered, someone else replaced Boden. So, Herrmann’s story in Chicago Fire season 13 focused on why he didn’t become leader and whether he still wanted to be leader.
