Who deserves to be eliminated the most in Hell’s Kitchen history?

Some Hell’s Kitchen contestants deserved elimination after making countless mistakes, while others were considered fan favorites. These eliminations of Gordon Ramsay made the most sense to viewers.

When chefs are eliminated on Hell’s Kitchen, viewers usually have one of two reactions. Sometimes, fans are relieved to see someone sent home after seeing them make too many mistakes in the kitchen.

Other times, viewers are extremely disappointed to see their favorite chef eliminated. Most of the time, Gordon Ramsay knows exactly what he’s doing when making the final decision on who gets to be sent home.

Social media users weighed in with their opinions on the most deserving eliminations throughout Hell’s Kitchen’s history. For the most part, it seems the public agrees with Gordon on these issues.

Matthew Johnson

Matthew Johnson of the Young Guns season only managed to overcome two eliminations, but he still made a pretty negative impression in a short time.

He got off to a rough start in the cooking phase of the signature dish when he served Gordon unwashed shrimp that still had the “damn bag” on it.

After surviving the first elimination, Matthew had a terrible dinner service, which was highlighted by his negative attitude and his inability to cook chicken or lamb. Gordon dismisses Matthew, advising him to carry a meat thermometer with him to ensure his protein is thoroughly cooked.

Brendan Heavey from Season 9 of Hell’s Kitchen.

Many Hell’s Kitchen fans believe that Brendan Heavey’s elimination in Season 9 makes the most sense because Brendan bent the truth and showed arrogance throughout his time on the show.

Brendan was filmed burning potatoes and then lied to Gordon’s face about catching bass too early. When he was eliminated against Chino, the answer as to who would go home was clear.

Mike Aresta from Season 12 of Hell’s Kitchen.

Mike Aresta’s attitude from Hell’s Kitchen Season 12 makes him one of the worst contestants in Hell’s Kitchen history. Mike is not always there for his teammates when they need him.

When he and his team lost the Signature Dish Challenge to the women, they were all tasked with cleaning the entire dining room. Mike walked out to take the penalty leaving his teammates more frustrated than ever.

When Mike finally came home, Gordon whispered about him: “Once upon a time there was a chef named Mike. He couldn’t cook fish or any other food so I told him to go hiking.”

Melissa Doney

Season 8’s Melissa Doney is one contestant who definitely deserved to be sent home after ruining multiple plates of beef and scallops in front of the cameras.

During her time on the show, she served raw pizza, scored a zero on a sushi challenge, and overcooked her Dover fish. She was nominated for elimination two times in a row before Gordon finally sent her packing.

Jeremy Madden from Season 11.

Jeremy Madden from Season 11 accidentally served a sample plate to restaurant guests, an act that Gordon described as “unforgivable.”

Gordon tells Jeremy that he needs to speak up more and improve his game if he wants to stay in the competition. Jeremy sometimes felt lost and confused when he had to remember which tables he needed to serve and couldn’t repeat orders that were just given to him.

He was officially ruled out because he collapsed from exhaustion and had to spend some time in the emergency room. Fans will have to keep watching to see if they continue to agree with Gordon’s harsh elimination decision.
