After being renewed for Season 5, the series was moved mid-season to CBS’s sister streaming channel, Paramount+. SEAL Team was renewed for Season 7 in January 2023, and 10 months later, it was announced that this would be the military drama’s final mission.

Original cast members David Boreanaz (Jason Hayes), Neil Brown Jr. (Ray Perry), AJ Buckley (Sonny Quinn), and Toni Trucks (Lisa Davis) have all been confirmed to return as series regulars, as has Season 7’s Raffi Barsoumian (Omar Hamza). 6.
After completing his role as General Sam Lane on Superman & Lois, TV veteran Dylan Walsh will remain in uniform and rejoin SEAL Team as Captain Walch. “Recently appointed Commander of DEVGRU, Captain Walch is a man of the rules,” the character description reads, “but he’s also politically minded and may be clouded by his ambition when deciding what to do with Bravo Team” after the end of Season 6.

In addition, Beau Knapp (The Lost Symbol) will take on the series regular role of Drew Franklin, a senior officer with a checkered background whose assignment to Bravo Team reveals their “problematic offspring” in the eyes of their superiors.

Production on SEAL Team Season 7 begins in early December 2023 and wraps in May of this year.

Showrunner/EP David Boreanaz reported on social media that the series finale would premiere in “August,” but that was quickly retracted — and there has been no official announcement (as of June 2024).
