Chicago Fire Season 13 Premiere Spoilers: ‘A Monster in the Field’
For those who don’t know yet, the Chicago Fire season 13 premiere is set to premiere on NBC next week. Want to learn more about the episode?
Well, first off, let’s note that the title of this episode is “A Monster in the Field.” Could that be a reference to the new leader played by Dermot Mulroney? It seems like a super fair thing to ask at this point. Now, let’s remind everyone that Boden (pictured above from last season’s key art) isn’t necessarily gone from this world and could still pop up here and there. We just don’t think it’ll be a full-time job.
Of course, at least a portion of the premiere will be dedicated to introducing the new leader; however, that’s not the only thing going on here! Remember, one of the big reveals from the season 12 finale was that Damon and Severide are actually half-brothers. How did Kelly never know about this? This is clearly something that needs to be explored further, and we’re excited to dig a little deeper into it.

For a little more intel, check out the full premiere synopsis below via TVLine: “A Monster in the Field” — A new leader shakes things up at Firehouse 51; Violet and Novak attempt to uncover the truth behind a car accident; Cruz keeps an eye on the growing relationship between Severide and Damon.

Some of these stories will unfold over time, so it’s a mistake to say that everything will be resolved right away. Overall, we’re just in for a ton of drama around every corner, and we hope it stands out from all the premieres that have come before it.
