Everything We Know About the Upcoming Final Season of SEAL TEAM
Eager for news about the seventh and final season of SEAL TEAM? Here’s everything we know so far.

Paramount+ announced that the show would return for another season in January 2023. In November of that year, the streaming service revealed that this would also be SEAL TEAM’s final season.

“It has been an honor to tell stories over seven seasons that celebrate the courage and heroism of all who serve our country,” executive producers Spencer Hudnut and Christopher Chulack said in a joint statement. “We are incredibly grateful to our incredibly talented cast, writers, directors, and crew, especially the hundreds of veterans who worked on this show.”

Star David Boreanaz also released a statement, telling fans, “For six seasons, I have been so lucky and blessed to be a part of such an incredible cast and crew. Every day is a thank you to the men and women of the military and Special Forces. I thank our fans and I am proud that we were able to make this show shine a light in the darkness for so many people suffering today. I look forward to season seven and the opportunity to end this series with love and gratitude.” The plot for season seven has yet to be revealed, but many fans assume that the new episodes will explore the fallout from the Season 6 finale.

According to TV Line, “Upon returning home from deployment—having missed Clay’s (Max Thieriot, now in Fire Country) funeral—Jason (David Boreanaz) was awarded and accepted the Navy Cross—and used the opportunity to speak publicly about his TBI and his fallen friend’s work to change the military’s perception of them. When he later confronts his commanding officer for his actions at the end of the finale, he is joined by Ray (Neil Brown Jr.), the rest of Bravo, and other SEALs who have spoken out about their own struggles.”

Stars Boreanaz, Brown, AJ Buckley, Toni Trucks, and Raffi Barsoumian are all set to return. Several new faces are also joining the cast, with Dylan Walsh playing Captain Walch and Beau Knapp playing Master Sergeant Drew Franklin.

Movieguide® previously reported on Knapp’s casting: Actor Beau Knapp will join SEAL TEAM as Officer Drew Franklin, a recurring character in the show’s seventh and final season.

For six seasons, SEAL TEAM has followed the lives of the Navy’s elite SEALs as they serve their country and carry out dangerous missions.

Now, “Knapp will play Drew Franklin, a Master Sergeant with a criminal record at Command whose placement on Bravo Team is a sign of their troubled child status in the eyes of the DEVGRU forces. A smooth talker who exploits every angle to his advantage, Drew delights in the mysteries and rumors that surround him,” Deadline reported.

SEVEN SECONDS, THE LOST SYMBOL, GOOD LORD BIRD, and BLACK AND BLUE are some of the actor’s notable roles.

It’s not yet known when the final season of SEAL TEAM will premiere, but many are expecting a release date of fall 2024.
