Chicago Fire, P.D., and Med Teaser Reveals First Look at New Police Chief Dermot Mulroney: ‘Come on, Team!’

All the kids back to school can only mean one thing for Wednesday night: It’s time to go back to Chicago!

In an exclusive trailer for the new seasons of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D., all the fan-favorite characters are back on the job and, in two cases, with some new co-stars.

The footage includes the first look at Dermot Mulroney as the new police chief, named Dom Pascal, after Chief Wallace Boden was promoted to Deputy Commissioner of the entire Chicago Fire Department—and Eamonn Walker left at the end of Chicago Fire’s season 12. Chicago Fire’s shocking ending saw Boden’s departure, more changes at 51, and one final reveal: “Come on, Team!” Pascal says in one scene. In another scene, however, he notes, “There’s going to be changes around the fire station.” Oh no.

Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) doesn’t really feel that way. “There’s something about the new chief that’s a little off.”

In a scene from season 10 of Chicago Med, Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson), the CEO of Patient and Health Services, declares, “We need to rethink how this ER is run.”

In the next scene of Med, Dr. Dean Archer (Steven Weber) doesn’t exactly get along with new employee Dr. Caitlin Lenox (Sarah Ramos). “How old are you?” Archer asks with skeptical judgment.

“How old are you?” Lenox shoots back.

Meanwhile, in scenes from Chicago P.D.’s season 12, Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) appears to be doing his best after the incident at the end of season 11 that nearly killed him.

“I’m a cop. I’m doing my job,” he insists. Then, when someone points out that he “almost died in that basement,” he counters, “But I’m not dead. I’m still here.”

Though she doesn’t appear in this first scene, Toya Turner will join the Intelligence Unit this season as Officer Kiana Cook after Tracy Spiridakos left as Hailey Upton last season.
