Eamonn Walker has played Wallace Boden for 12 seasons, since Chicago Fire debuted in 2012. And although Walker announced that he would be leaving the show as a regular cast member after Season 12, he has left an indelible mark on the One Chicago series. And the actor isn’t gone forever, with reports suggesting that Boden will return as a recurring cast member in future seasons. That’s because people can’t stop watching Walker and Boden, the father who plays a key role in Firehouse 51. Considering the role, people are always curious, does Eamonn Walker have children in real life?

Does Eamonn Walker have children?
Walker and his wife Sandra Walker have been married for decades and have three children together, twins: Jahdine and Deke Roderique-Walker, and a younger son, Kane. There’s not much information about the children available online either, as the family is very private, but it’s known that Walker has at least three grandchildren. Deke Roderique-Walker is the father of Milan and Paris, and Jahdine has a son named Cory.

The actor doesn’t have a personal social media account, and his wife Sandra occasionally posts pictures of the two of them together, but rarely posts family photos. It seems like the Walkers have decided that life in the spotlight isn’t for them.

On the show, Walker played Sheriff Wallace Boden for 12 seasons. Sheriff Boden is also married and the father of two children. He was married before Chicago Fire began, to a woman named Shonda, and he has a son named Jimmy. That relationship did not last, and when the show began, Boden was single. In Season 2, the show introduced Donna Robbins (Melissa Ponzio), and after a brief romance, she and Boden married at the end of the season. They are still married at the end of Season 12. The two have a son, Terrance.

Season 12 saw Boden rekindle his relationship with Jimmy after Jimmy asked him to help take care of his mother, and Boden expressed to him that Jimmy would always be his son.

Walker started as the Battalion Chief of Battalion 25 on the show before being promoted to Deputy District Chief in Season 10. At the end of Season 12, Boden took on the role of Deputy Fire Commissioner, which is why Walker will not be returning to Chicago Fire as a series regular in Season 12. He is still expected to appear on the show in some capacity, although it is unclear exactly how much of a presence he will have going forward. A new Chief, named Dom Pascal, will replace him at Firehouse 51.
