Many users agree that this part of The Big Bang Theory’s narrative is possibly the saddest of the entire series.

Throughout the 12 seasons of The Big Bang Theory we have laughed out loud on many occasions, but we have also shed a few tears from time to time.

According to a recent Reddit thread with a multitude of participants, there was one scene that was considered the saddest of the 12 seasons of The Big Bang Theory.

Specifically was Leonard’s relationship with his mother the saddest part of the series, and the commentary said “Leonard realizes he will never have a real relationship with his mother and forgives her so he can let her go.”

And throughout the series, Leonard’s relationship with his mother was not exactly good, where the character was always trying to live up to her expectations so as not to disappoint her.

This gave additional pressure to the character, who was not happy in some chapters of the series.

Interestingly, according to other comments on Reddit, The rest of the characters from The Big Bang Theory didn’t have a good relationship with their parents either..

They say, for example, that Penny’s father wanted her to have a son; Sheldon’s mother bothered him about religion; Howard’s mother spoiled him too much; Raj’s parents used money to control him, and we’ve already discussed the subject of Leonard.
