Tracker Season 1 Episode 3 Recap And Ending Explained Colter Shaw
Who was Kira looking for?
Episode 3 opens with Colter driving back to Springland, Idaho to look for a stolen car. However, he stops at a parking lot where he finds a group of men, among them a guy named Tom Tozer, trying to scare a woman who is putting up some posters about his missing sister. The woman named Kira Stine did not want to leave the area, so Tom started threatening her, but in the meantime, Colter came to her rescue and asked Tom to leave the woman alone. Tom pulled out a knife and punctured his car’s tires. As the two fought, Tom left the place after stabbing Colter in the chest. It was a minor wound, so Colter did not pay much attention to it and wanted to talk to Kira Stine. Kira told him that her sister was missing, and the police were not actively investigating her disappearance. So Kira took it upon herself to find out about her sister at all costs. Colter decided to go find Mia and went to a clinic, where Beth, a doctor, took care of his wound. Beth also informed him about Mia, who had come to her clinic before. Mia used to live in her van, as she was probably a vagrant, traveling from place to place. Colter then talks to Kira about her sister and learns about the Winslow family patriarch, Eric Winslow, who has several illegal properties in his name. Mia was last seen at one of their properties, after which she disappeared. Colter realizes that Eric Winslow may have had a hand in Mia’s disappearance, so he passes on some intelligence about Mia’s case to Bobby, who begins searching for both Mia and her truck.
Why is Mia a threat to the Winslow family?
Soon, it is discovered that Mia had a brief relationship with Eric’s son, Matt “Gecko” Winslow, who had been sleeping with her for quite some time. After Mia’s disappearance, Matt decides to leave Springland, but stalkers track him down and catch him red-handed. Matt tells them all about his relationship with Mia and says that he knows Mia left town, leaving a letter for him. Colter takes the letter and shows it to Kira, who tells him that it’s a lie, as it’s not even Mia’s handwriting. Colter realizes that Mia was either killed or captured by the Winslows, who wrote a fake goodbye letter to make it look like she left town.

Meanwhile, Teddy and Velma begin investigating the Winslows and dig deeper into their records, only to discover that the Winslows had several claims against them regarding these properties. Eric gets involved in a lawsuit with Nathaniel Orkutt, who filed a claim against him, but before Nathaniel can proceed with the lawsuit, he is found dead under mysterious circumstances.

It is clear that Eric is involved in Nathaniel’s death, so as the Watchers dig deeper into this particular case, they discover that Mia is going to be brought in as a witness against Eric Winslow and she has agreed to do so. Mia has always been a strong-minded and outspoken woman who never backs down from doing the right thing, so when she learns the truth about the Winslows, she decides to speak out against them. But Eric Winslow, who knows Mia very well, does not let her go to trial.

Matt is once again interrogated by Colter and his partner in the investigation, Reenie, who press him to reveal what he really knows about Mia’s involvement in the case against the Winslow family. Matt tells them that he was the one who told Mia about her father’s illegal activities, which motivated her to make the decision to take the case against him. However, Matt does not know what happened to Mia, as he only knows that Mia left town. He suspects that Tony, their driver, may have done something wrong to her. From the footage discovered by Bobby, who was able to track the location of Mia’s truck, Colter discovers that it was Tony who drove the truck off their property. Matt feels guilty, but he is certain that no one in his family would harm Mia, but Colter proves him wrong.

Who killed Mia?
At the end of the episode, Colter takes Matt to meet his parents, whom he confronts and asks about Mia. Eric confesses that all he wanted to do was scare Mia so she wouldn’t have to go to court again, but the truth is that Mia was killed by one of the
