The Nanny star Nicholle Tom shocked viewers on Monday after she unveiled her stunning new appearance on Seven’s The Morning Show.
The American actress, 45, was speaking to hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies about her time on the show and shocked them with her far more mature look.
Viewers of The Nanny would remember Nicholle playing awkward teenage heiress Maggie Sheffield, known for her blonde bob cut and conservative upmarket attire.
Nicholle has since traded in the hairstyle for fiery red shoulder length tresses which frame her face.
She completed the look with a light layer of makeup which accentuated her striking facial features.
She also traded traded in the modest outfits worn by Maggie for a slick unbuttoned leather jacket which she paired with a plunging blouse.
Nicholle revealed she was just a teenager when she was first cast on The Nanny and said she grew up with the character.
‘I was 15 at that time and it was such a growing experience, being that young,’ she began.
‘I started working on the movie Beethoven when I was 13 and got The Nanny from that. It was an interesting childhood.’
Tom starred on The Nanny alongside Fran Drescher for the entirety of its run, from 1993 – 1999.
The hosts then asked her if there was any truth to the rumours of the entire cast of The Nanny reuniting for a reunion movie.
‘That would be amazing and wonderful. I think it should happen, it would make a fabulous movie,’ she said.
Nicholle began her Hollywood career in 1992 after she was cast in the family movie Beethoven and she went on to appear in several high profile productions including The Princess Diaries, Gotham and Beverly Hills, 90210.
