The biggest reason we’re hoping things will improve with Jason and Ray is pretty simple: We’ve been in tough situations with them before. They know each other inside and out and they’re not going to put up with it when something goes wrong. For Ray specifically, we also know that he’s trying to get out of his last mission here alive, because he’s done everything he can to be more forward-looking. He has specific plans that he 100% doesn’t want to see go down.
As for Drew’s storyline, we’ll say that the writers are doing their best to flesh out that character and make him interesting for a little while. He’s just in the most difficult position because it’s the final season and of course with that, we’re naturally going to be drawn to some of the other people that we’ve gotten to know him.
