Awkward family time!
Beloved Bachelor Nations stars Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts from “The Golden Bachelor” released a very special new episode of their “Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour” podcast.
The co-hosts invited Susan’s daughter Brittany and Kathy’s son Kyle with his wife Candi onto the pod!
On the episode, they dive into family issues and work advice and spill some interesting secrets during a round of “Never Have I Ever.”
Usually, kids don’t like to reveal to their parents sneaky antics they might’ve gotten up to behind their backs. But this time, Susan’s and Kathy’s kids are sharing everything.
“We’re throwing it back to the infamous game played on ‘The Golden Bachelor’ and now we’re going to play it with our kids,” Susan says as she and Kathy reflect on the time they had to play “Never Have I Ever” on the show.
Kathy adds, “Buckle up, everybody! We have no idea what the questions are, so honestly, we’re all in for a surprise. But, you have to answer truthfully.”
Right off the bat, the game starts with a bang when Susan asks everyone if they’ve ever snuck out of the house as a kid or teenager, and all of their kids answered that they had. Completely shocked, both Kathy and Susan dig in deeper and ask each kid when and how they snuck out. “I’m taking notes; we’re gonna have a conversation about this,” Kathy chimes in.
The game continues with various questions about tattoos, lying about their age, buying their siblings things they shouldn’t, and forgetting a family member’s birthday, with mixed answers from everyone for each question.
The game comes to a hilarious moment when Kathy gets called out for saying she’s never showed up intoxicated to a family gathering, and when Susan reflects on a time she accidentally walked in on her parents “doing the deed.” “I was crying, [I was] freaked out!” Susan says while cringing and laughing.
Throughout the game, Kathy keeps calling out her son, Kyle, adding to the comedy of the episode. “Susan, can I adopt [your daughter] for the rest of the show? Because I’m really disgusted with you, Kyle,” Kathy said laughingly after he answered some of the questions.
Kathy ends the segment by asking, “I have or have not set my parent up with someone for a date,” and encourages each of their kids that they should. Susan’s daughter answers with how she told her to go on the show and says, “I feel like that’s the best one of all!”
We love getting to know Susan, Kathy, and their families better, and give them big kudos for being so open with one another.
