Colter also learned that his father and Lizzy’s mother were having an affair, leaving him with even more questions about his family.

An official production listing for British Columbia shows that Tracker Season 2 will begin filming on July 16, 2024, running through March 4, 2025.

Barring any delays in filming, the season premiere is still set to air on CBS sometime in the fall, with the season continuing into next year.

Tracker Season 2 Release Predictions
It’s encouraging to see a show like Tracker move up an hour, considering that its 8 p.m. Sunday start time is the start of primetime in the United States.

This isn’t surprising, as Tracker ranked as one of CBS’ highest-rated series that season and was renewed after only airing four episodes.

Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, confirmed that Tracker “kicked off our premiere week with explosive ratings and has maintained its momentum” as the network renews for another season.

As for when viewers can expect Tracker Season 2 to premiere, it’s likely to be late September or early October, as that’s when most of CBS’ Sunday dramas premiere in the fall.

It’s clear that CBS sees Tracker as their latest big primetime series, and with this new time slot, they’re making a big push to build up their audience for the next season.

Tracker Season 2 will premiere this fall on CBS and Paramount+.
