‘Chicago Fire’ Adds Dermot Mulroney for Season 13
Chicago Fire is bringing a new leader to Firehouse 51. Dermot Mulroney is joining the NBC drama for its upcoming season 13, which is set to premiere on September 25. He will play Chief Dom Pascal in the series.
Further details about the character are being kept under wraps. The show’s fire department is likely in need of a new leader after Eamonn Walker, who played Chief Wallace Boden in all 12 previous seasons, left his role as the series’ main cast member at the end of the previous season. Boden was promoted during the show’s storyline, opening up the possibility that Walker could return as a guest star.
Upon his departure, Boden told David Eigenberg’s Christopher Herrmann that he was Boden’s choice to be the new leader, potentially causing some conflict as the new season begins. Along with Eigenberg, returning cast members include Taylor Kinney, Miranda Rae Mayo, Joe Miñoso, Christian Stolte, Daniel Kyri, Hanako Greensmith and Jocelyn Hudon.
Mulroney’s recent television credits include Marvel’s Secret Invasion on Disney+, Prime Video’s Hanna and recurring roles on Station 19 and Shameless. He also stars in the upcoming Starz series The Hunting Wives alongside Malin Akerman and Brittany Snow. His film credits include the Scream series, My Best Friend’s Wedding and Anyone But You, among others. Mulroney is repped by Paradigm.
