CBS is working on a reboot of the 1950s classic The Honeymooners

Superior Donuts will premiere on CBS in February. The writer of Pre-Holiday Party is preparing to let The Lawyer go to ABC
The Honeymooners: CBS is making a reboot of the classic ’55-’56 CBS sitcom starring Jackie Gleason, Audrey Meadows and Art Carney, set in a Brooklyn apartment building. The version currently in production of The Honeymooners revolves around two couples, neighbors and close friends, who face a new situation when one of them remarries after divorcing four years ago. The multi-camera comedy is written by Bob Kushell and produced by Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly for CBS  TV Studios.

Alone Together: Freeform has ordered Andy Samberg’s single-camera comedy series, starring Esther Povitsky and Benji Aflalo as two best friends who have a platonic relationship with each other and want nothing more than to be together while obsessed with “status.” Even though they sometimes argue, they help each other and often support each other and vice versa, no one else. Freeform’s Karey Burke highlighted how Alone Together fully reflects their desire to create shows for twenty-somethings. In the cast of the series created by the two main characters there will be several famous guests such as Chris D’Elia, Kamilla Alnes, Justin Lupe and others.

Lawyer Up: ABC is making a legal comedy produced by Office Christmas Party co-writer Justin Malen with Bluegrass FanFare and ABC Studios. Lawyer Up is a single-camera comedy centered on a specific girl, a recent Harvard graduate, who unexpectedly fails the bar exam and is forced to work with her two morally ambiguous brothers in their small law firm. Malen previously worked as a lawyer before becoming a screenwriter and is therefore an expert in the field.

Luncheon: Colin Quinn will star and write in a comedy pilot produced by Jax Media and directed by Lilly Burns, in which Quinn will play Eddie, an ex-cop who runs a typical New York bar with a diverse staff.
