BREAKING NEWS: A Full Trailer Has Dropped For “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story”, And I’m Beyond Excited

“Hello Charlotte, I am George.”

If you’re a big fan of Bridgerton, you may already be aware that a spin-off series – Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story – is in the offing!

The limited series has been written by Shonda Rhimes and will tell the story of a young Queen Charlotte’s (played by Golda Rosheuvel in Bridgerton) rise to prominence and power.

Well, Netflix has just dropped the full trailer – revealing the release date of 4th May – and it looks SO GOOD. Check it out below…

Netflix previously released an exclusive clip of a young Queen Charlotte meeting her intended, a young King George III, for the first time. This trailer represents our first look at the entire scope of the series, including the full cast both old and new!

In the trailer we see Queen Charlotte arriving to crowds of baying subjects, but she doesn’t look happy.

It’s hard being a Queen, am I right ladies?

Then we cut to Charlotte meeting George for the first time, which was teased to us before. I see another hands touching scene!!! 😍

Relative newcomer Corey Mylchreest will play young George – you may have seen him in The Sandman as Adonis – and India Amarteifio will portray the titular Queen Charlotte. India’s previous credits include Sex Education, Line of Duty, and Doctor Who.

I’m sorry, but this man’s eyebrows are B-E-A-UTIFUL!

Corey is The Internet’s next boyfriend, you heard it here first!

It also does this super cool fading to the older version of the character thing, which made me involuntarily yelp out loud!
Fan faves Adjoa Andoh and Ruth Gemmell will appear as Lady Danbury and Violet, Dowager Viscountess Bridgerton, respectively. Naturally, Golda will also appear to play the mature Queen Charlotte looking back on her youth.

Another relative newcomer, Arsema Thomas will play young Lady Danbury. I think you’ll agree, she’s just as beautiful as Adjoa is!

Michelle Fairley (Game of Thrones, Suits, Gangs of London) appears as Princess Augusta, George’s mother.
Guess we know where Charlotte picked up all that aristocratic ire from!

There’s also some sexy shenanigans going on – because it wouldn’t be Bridgerton without them!!

Generally, I’m shook. Are you excited for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story? Let us know in the comments below.
