And she would get me out of bed, get me dressed, and put me in my car. Multiple times. She visited me on set on days off, when she didn’t have to be at work because she knew I was having a hard time.
Cuoco expressed profound gratitude for Mamet’s unwavering presence and support. She also acknowledged that despite her usual preference for privacy and personal space, Mamet’s companionship was indispensable, admitting that she wasn’t sure how she would have coped without her.

When I heard they wanted me to [do a] chemistry read with Kaley, I was like, “Oh, they see how important this relationship is”; you need a chemistry read between two female best friends who have been best friends since they were kids.
And the actress explained that their chemistry was evident during the audition process, where an unscripted moment of playful interaction led to an immediate connection.
