Kaley Cuoco has been acting for decades, so she is no stranger to exciting moments on set. But a recent experience made one of her dreams come true! She just shared pictures of an adorable visit from her 15-month-old daughter Matilda “Tildy” Carmine, who she shares with partner Tom Pelphrey, and revealed just how special it was for her.
“Baby girls first on set experience,” The Big Bang Theory star wrote on her Instagram story over a picture of her and Tildy, per PEOPLE. “I will remember this forever. I hope she will too.”
Because the post would disappear in 24 hours, Cuoco decided to post several pictures of the visit on her Instagram grid as well. “When your little lady visits you at work for the first time, it deserves a permanent post ♥️” she wrote. “I dreamed of the classic ‘baby on camera ‘ pic since the day she was born.”
“Maybe she will share this pic in 20 years when she is on the Late Show 😛 📸 Chris Messina,” she added.
Aww! In the posts, Tildy looks so happy in her mama’s arms – but Cuoco is also beaming with happiness. The first picture is black and white and shows the Based on a True Story star holding her daughter on her hip. She gazes at her daughter with a smile, and oh my goodness you can tell how meaningful the moment was. For her part, Tildy also looks so joyful as she grins at the camera.
Other photos are in color, and Tildy is so stylish in her hot pink romper! Cuoco lifts her baby up on a little cushion on a rolling camera in one photo and looks at her baby with her mouth open in surprise. It’s so cute, and you can tell Tildy is having the best time with her mama.
Pelphrey commented on the milestone post, “The most beautiful girls in the world 😍” She wrote back, “bubs!🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹”
“This is so sweet 😍 she is beautiful like her mama 🥰💗” another wrote.
Celebrities also commented on the heartwarming pictures. “Oh my gosh!!!! She looks to engaged and bright and happy!!! ❤️” Jewel wrote. Haylie Duff commented, “So special!” Alyssa Milano wrote, “I love her. And you.”
Cuoco’s The Flight Attendant co-star Cheryl Hines wrote, “I remember this feeling! Sooo sweet🥹💕💕” And Cuoco’s sister Bri Cuoco commented, “When I tell you I simply cannot.” (Same, girl!)
Even though Tildy’s mom brought her to set, Cuoco revealed that her daughter still calls all the shots. In an interview with Us Weekly in May, Cuoco joked about what she’s learned about herself as a mom: “That you’re not important,” she said. “Whatever a 1-year-old wants, they want. Don’t take it personally when they want Dada over Mama all day long. Doesn’t mean anything. Don’t take things personally. I learned that very quickly.”
Yep, that’s true! Even celebrities can’t escape the wild whims of toddlers.
