The main characters of the popular 90s series want to help bring joy to the family during the quarantine period.

After 21 years, the original cast of the TV series The Babysitter will reunite virtually for a special that will see them read from the 1990s series on April 6.

In the face of social isolation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, The Babysitter participates in an initiative to entertain the public through a digital platform, in this case the actors will connect with a live chat. The video call will be broadcast on Sony Pictures’ YouTube channel, Variety reported.

Actress Fran Drescher, the main character of the comedy, commented:

Drescher will reprise the character of Fran Nine for a virtual reunion with co-stars Charles Shaughnessy, Daniel Davis, Lauren Lane, Nicholle Tom, Benjamin Salisbury, Madeline Zima, Renee Taylor, Alex Sternin, Ann Hampton, DeeDee Rescher, Rachel Chagall and Jonathan Penner.

The series had six seasons and aired from 1993 to 1999, telling the story of a young cosmetics saleswoman who, after being fired from the store where she worked, found a job as a nanny in the home of a millionaire widower who lives in the same house.
