Days of Our Lives this week focused on setting the stage for a dramatic turnover of epic proportions. On one side, Brady took some decisive moves towards bringing Sophia to justice, while Kristen went off in a completely different direction by forming an alliance with Sophia to take down EJ and Johnny.
Meanwhile, DiMera Enterprises was a breeding ground for power moves as Johnny decided to step into a leadership role under strict conditions, while Theo stepped away for mysterious reasons, which left Paulina wondering. The week also found Leo making a heartbreaking romantic decision by the end of the week.

Days of Our Lives Weekly Recap for April 6 to 10, 2026
Brady’s mission against Sophia moves forward
Since Brady found out that Sophia had used Rachel for her criminal intents against Holly, he has been on a crusade to make sure that she is brought to justice. The previous week on Days of Our Lives found Brady catching Steve up on the situation and wanting to gather concrete proof against Sophia before holding her accountable.
Steve was impressed by Brady’s suggestions and added that Brady go about his own way on this, and he could even consider joining on as a professional investigator, like his father. Brady involved Tate in his efforts this week and recruited him to get Sophia’s fingerprints for proof.
Kristen’s revenge plot deepens
The week also found Kristen planning her own revenge for Rachel being in Bayview. However, she blamed everyone around her, from Marlena, EJ, and Johnny to Brady, for everything. She blackmailed Sophia into helping her through a murderous plot against EJ.
Later in the week, Rafe approached her to work together against EJ, and she agreed to do so. She even snooped around EJ’s tunnels for him, hoping to find his secret with Dr. Rolf, only to find nothing but a wine cellar.
DiMera vs Titan power struggles
The week on Days of Our Lives focused on some major power struggles between DiMera and Titan, especially between Xander, Kate, and Johnny. Johnny was finally hit with the plagiarism case for Maggie’s novel, just as Xander and Kate had planned, but he refused to just pay the money like they were hoping he would.
Instead, he revealed in front of everyone, including Marlena and Roman, how Kate and Xander had tricked him into this situation, leaving them answerable to everyone around. By the end of the week, Johnny chose to take over the DiMera enterprises after Theo decided to step down.
Theo decides to step down per EJ’s plans
Theo’s decision to step down as CEO of DiMera Enterprises was a well-thought-out plan by EJ. He had promised Abe that he would ensure Theo made this decision, and he did, after seeing his mother. EJ finally revealed to Theo about Lexie’s miracle reawakening.
After shocking Theo with this information and taking him to Lexie’s room, he asked Theo if he was in a place that Lexie would be proud to see him in once he woke up. This made Theo realize that Lexie would not want him to be CEO, and he decided to quit, leaving Paulina worried that EJ had done something to motivate this decision.
By the end of the week, in a shocking update, Lexie woke up when Theo was talking to her, but it turned out to be Theo’s imagination while dreaming.
Tangled relationships between Leo, Dimitri, Javi, and Gwen
The tangled relationship between Leo and Dimitri came to a final head this week on Days of Our Lives after Dimitri confessed his love for Leo, who asked him to settle his grievances with Gwen so they could go back to what they used to be.
However, when Leo and Dimitri were getting closer, Leo came to the realization that he still had feelings for Javi and couldn’t be with Dimitri. This led Dimitri to completely spiral and put filthy accusations on Leo, like using him to get his money through Gwen and the divorce settlement, and calling him damaged goods who would end up alone.
By the end of the week, Javi returned to Salem.
Stephanie’s trauma rises to the surface
The week also found Alex trying to get back to what their relationship used to be with Stephanie on Days of Our Lives. She was, however, completely uneasy around him and unwilling to process anything. Her distress rose to a panic attack, leading to an intervention from Steve, who asked Marlena to help.
Stephanie confessed to Marlena about how afraid she felt. She later expressed the desire to own a gun and learn how to use it in front of Alex, highlighting the depth of her fear.
The week also found Holly and Ari making amends as a new actress joins the role of Ari.
