All In The Family star Sally Struthers manages a smile in her mug shot after DUI arrest

Sally Struthers has been charged with driving under the influence.

The All In The Family star was arrested early yesterday morning after being pulled over on U.S. Route 1 in the southern Maine resort town of Ogunquit, according to police.

She appears unfazed by the brush with the law in her mug shot, which shows her smiling broadly for the camera.

She was charged with criminal operating under the influence and posted $160 bail.

The 65-year-old actress has been performing at the Ogunquit Playhouse in the musical 9 to 5.

Police Sgt. Buttrick said a motor vehicle violation was the initial reason the officer questioned Struthers but he would not confirm what the violation was.

Struthers is famous for her role as Gloria Stivic in the 1970s TV sitcom All in the Family.

She later became known for heart-tugging ads seeking money for children’s charities.

She has been ordered to attend the York District Court on December 13.
