And no, we don’t just mean between vampires and werewolves.
It’s been ten (!) years since the final movie in the Twilight franchise was released, but we’re still learning some behind-the-scenes secrets.
While Twihards everywhere were arguing over Team Edward versus Team Jacob, actress Ashley Greene — who played Alice Cullen in the five films — admitted that there was also some turmoil between the actors on set. In a recent interview with People, she divulged that it “wasn’t always rainbows and sunshines” during filming.
“We did this for five years and there was a lot of ups and downs, and some drama, and we were like a family, but also in our 20s, and so there were kind of tiffs here and there,” she told the outlet .
But with time, it appears the cast moved on from any on-set disputes: “So I think, it’s one of those things where, for the most part, it was a good experience, but we were human beings, and we were in our 20s. So you can imagine who you were in your 20s versus who you are now,” she said.
Ashley also revealed this bit of information while discussing her upcoming podcast, The Twilight Effect. In the 30-episode series, she and co-host Melanie Howe will rewatch the entire saga and comment on the films’ iconic scenes. “As the voice of the fans, I will actually be getting into all of the juicy details about Ashley’s life behind-the-scenes… on-set hookups, fights, who did you really have a crush on?,” Melanie divulged in the podcast trailers.
The two will sit down and recap with some other members of the Cullen family as well, such as Kellan Lutz (Emmett), Nikki Reed (Rosalie), and Peter Facinelli (Carlisle).
We’ll certainly be listening in to catch all the gossip.
