In his most recent recap of his tour through the majority of the US, Gerry shared that he was excited to be heading through the Grand Canyon. “Two days of hiking the Grand Canyon, one day on the train to the Canyon, and the final day hiking the Constellation Trails near Prescott, AZ,” Gerry explained, but was met with pushback from Bachelor Nation.
While some are interested in Gerry’s posts, many are offended he’s still sharing his travels in a carefree way. Some comments explained that they were no longer interested in hearing from Gerry about his tour, while others were a bit more harsh, like @silvernotdead who shared, “Simply a nobody.”

Instagram user @stewartswanson explained they hoped Gerry was paying his own way on his trip, as “nothing he does could turn his bad pr around!” In response, Gerry shared, “THERE ARE IMPOSTERS. BE CAREFUL.”
While Gerry has been one of the most polarizing figures in Bachelor Nation history in quite some time, there has been an unprecedented amount of engagement on his posts recently. Though Gerry has been working hard to repair his image by interacting with the trolls in his comments section, some hateful language appears to be going over his head on the social media platform. Gerry appears to like sharing about his family and his travels, but the fact that his comments section is filled with viewers hopeful that he’ll stop posting doesn’t seem to be phasing The Golden Bachelor star.
