In the February episode, Meg’s Pumpkin Spice Latte–inspired daydream included a playful reference to Mel and Jack, recreating a familiar Season 4 embrace. Breckenridge admitted she hadn’t even heard about the moment beforehand — not even from a producer friend she’d recently visited.
Rather than taking offense at the joke, the actress saw it as a milestone. To her, being referenced on Family Guy means Virgin River has entered pop-culture territory that shows have to earn. 🎬
