The long-awaited Season 6 of FBI is just around the corner and fans can’t wait, but should we be bracing for a heartbreak? A new interview with the cast has us worried about the fate of the squad. Who dies on FBI Season 6? Keep reading to find out.
Produced by Dick Wolf, FBI is CBS’ fictional crime drama that follows special agents at the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The elite team investigates the most dangerous criminal cases, including terrorism, organized crime and counterintelligence. The series premiered in 2018 and has spawned two spin-offs: FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International (the three shows often do crossover episodes).
FBI stars Missy Peregrym as Special Agent Maggie Bell, Zeeko Zaki as Special Agent Omar Adom “OA” Zidan, John Boyd as Special Agent Stuart Scola, Katherine Renee Kane as Special Agent Tiffany Wallace, Jeremy Sisto as Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine and Alana de la Garza as Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille.
Season 6 of FBI premieres on Feb. 13, 2024, and fans might want to prepare themselves as the squad is going to lose one of its own. Find out which character is going to be killed off below.
Who dies on FBI in Season 6?
Who dies on FBI in Season 6? While we don’t know for sure, Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki and Alana de la Garza provided some hints while discussing the upcoming season with TV Insider in a January 2024 interview. “We lose a family member,” Peregrym said, with De La Garza noting that the person is someone who is “close to home.”
Peregrym continued: “The point is, it’s a very heavy episode about the risk of the jobs that we do and how much it affects us when things go the wrong way, and that’s how we start the season.” Zaki noted that it is not one of their characters, adding: “One of us is super close to it. It is the result of a call that one of us make, and one of us will have to go through that journey this season and dealing with that.”
While the cast members did not clarify if the character in question will die or simply leave the FBI, the franchise has not shied away from killing off major characters in the past. During Season 4, Special Agent Rina Trenholm (played by Kathleen Munroe) was shot by a drug lord and suffered a brain hemorrhage. The spin-off series FBI: Most Wanted lost its main character, Jess LaCroix (Julian McMahon), in a similar way, with the special agent gunned down by a serial killer in Season 3.
Since Peregrym, Zaki and Garza’s characters appear to be safe, that leaves Sisto’s Jubal Valentine, Kane’s Tiffany Wallace and Boyd’s Stuart Scola. The latter just welcomed a baby with Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten) and fans are very invested in their relationship, so we suspect he’s also in the clear. Our prediction is that Jubal or Tiffany might be in danger when Season 6 returns, as they are both close with the rest of the squad, but fans will just have to tune in to find out.
