Reality Steve revealed that she went across the country to visit some of her suitors’ hometowns. She was spotted on two hometown dates. The first stop took place in Wichita, Kansas, where she got to know the friends and family members of a suitor named Chock.
The king of spoilers also revealed that Vassos also traveled to Glencoe, Illinois. She was in the area to film a hometown date with another contestant named Pascal. She will have one more hometown date to go through. Fans haven’t spotted Vassos at the hometown location.
ABC hasn’t announced the contestants for Joan Vassos’ season of The Golden Bachelorette. That didn’t stop fans from getting as many details as possible. Only a few of the contestants’ names have surfaced on social media.

The Golden Bachelorette Premiere Date
The Golden Bachelorette premieres on Wednesday, September 18 at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes will stream the following day on Hulu. Joan Vassos was a contestant during Gerry Turner’s debut season of The Golden Bachelor. The two had obvious chemistry during their one-on-one date.
But she had to leave the show during week three because of a medical emergency involving her daughter, who just gave birth. In May, ABC announced Vassos as the first-ever Golden Bachelorette. She’s not giving up on her chance of finding love again.
The 61-year-old school administrator from Rockville, Maryland is a widow. Vassos lost her husband to pancreatic cancer in 2021. They were happily married for 32 years. As fans already know, Vassos is also a mother to four kids and a grandmother to three.
