Miguel Ferrer
Miguel Ferrer appeared on NCIS: Los Angeles for seven seasons as Assistant Director Owen Granger. The actor, also known for Crossing Jordan and the film RoboCop, continued working on the CBS series even after being diagnosed with throat cancer in 2012. The illness was written into his storyline as it began affecting his voice. Ferrer passed away in January 2017 at the age of 61, and his cousin George Clooney honored his legacy with a heartfelt tribute.

Ravil Isyanov
Russian-born actor Ravil Isyanov portrayed mobster Anatoli Kirkin on NCIS: Los Angeles from 2013 until his passing. He died in September 2021 at age 59 following a battle with cancer.
