The NCIS universe is bringing back one of its most recognizable agents. LL Cool J will guest star in an upcoming Season 22 episode, once again stepping into the role of Sam Hanna.
The actor announced the news through social media, sharing a clip from the set and telling fans he was ready to get back into action.
Hanna became a beloved character during NCIS: Los Angeles, where he served as a former Navy SEAL turned federal agent and close partner to Chris O’Donnell’s G. Callen.
Although the spinoff wrapped after 14 seasons, the character has continued to appear across the franchise, keeping Sam Hanna connected to the larger NCIS world.
