NCIS is back for season 23, and there’s no shortage of heartfelt moments.
The CBS series might be about solving military-related crimes, but audiences have stuck around for NCIS‘ 22 seasons because of the show’s cast of characters and their love stories.
Fans mourned alongside Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) when Kate Todd (Sasha Alexander) was killed in season 2, and rejoiced when he and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) finally became an item in season 10. Meanwhile, viewers spent years rooting for a Tim McGee (Sean Murray) and Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) romance before he married Delilah Fielding (Margo Harshman) in season 14.
More recently, fans were devastated when Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) betrayed Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) in season 18, and watching the love story between him and Robin Knight (Lilan Bowden) unfold last season.
Off-screen, many of the NCIS cast members, past and present, have maintained long-lasting relationships. Mark Harmon, who left the show in 2021, has been married to Pam Dawber since 1987, while Brian Dietzen and his wife, Kelly Dietzen, have been going strong since 2004.
Here’s everything to know about the real-life partners of the NCIS cast.
Mark Harmon and Pam Dawber

Mark Harmon, who played special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs on NCIS from 2003 to 2021, has been married to his wife, Pam Dawber, for nearly four decades.
“I’m proud to be married, and I’m proud of who I’m married to,” Harmon told PEOPLE in February 2019. “I’m just so proud of her.”
The couple, who wed in 1987, share two sons: Sean and Ty. Notably, Sean has appeared in several NCIS episodes as a younger version of Gibbs.
Brian Dietzen and Kelly Dietzen

Brian Dietzen, who portrays Dr. Jimmy Palmer, has been married to Kelly Dietzen since 2004.
“I am beyond blessed to have met someone like you, Kel. I’m so glad you’re my person, and we get to do life together,” Brian wrote on Instagram in honor of the couple’s 20th anniversary in June 2024.
The pair share two children, Clover and Satchel.
Wilmer Valderrama and Amanda Pacheco

Wilmer Valderrama, who plays special agent Nick Torres, has been engaged to model Amanda Pacheco since 2020.
A year later, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Nakano Oceana, and in July 2025, they announced the arrival of their second baby, a boy, Wolf Monte.
“[I’m looking forward to] more unicorn birthdays, more toys on the floor, hearing ‘Hola papá’ twice when I walk in the door and giving our parents more babysitting hours,” Valderrama told PEOPLE in February 2025, of growing their family.
“All in all, I look forward to laughs and memories,” he added.
Rocky Carroll and Gabrielle Bullock

Rocky Carroll, who plays director Leon Vance in the procedural drama, is married to architect Gabrielle Bullock.
The couple wed in 1996 and later welcomed a daughter named Elissa.
Carroll and Bullock keep their relationship fairly private, but the architect paid tribute to her husband on Instagram in July 2024, writing, “Happy Birthday Rocky.”
Diona Reasonover and Patricia Villetto

Diona Reasonover, who portrays forensic specialist Kasie Hines, is married to TV writer and producer Patricia Villetto.
The couple, who met at Second City in Los Angeles, wed in 2018 and aren’t shy about sharing their love on social media.
In January 2025, Villetto penned a sweet post on Instagram in honor of her wife’s birthday.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!” she wrote. “Gorgeous, funny, smart, best baker of bread!”
Gary Cole and Michelle Knapp

Gary Cole, who portrays supervisor special agent Alden Parker, and interior designer Michelle Knapp wed in 2021.
“Married my best friend #garycole and it was Nothing but Family, Friends, Love, Joy, Laughter and Fun,” Knapp wrote on Instagram following their nuptials.
Cole was previously married to actress Teddi Siddall. The couple, who shared a daughter, filed for divorce in 2017, per TMZ. However, Siddall died in 2018 before their divorce was finalized.
Katrina Law and Keith Andreen

Katrina Law joined NCIS as Jessica Knight in season 18.
In 2013, Law married actor Keith Andreen, but in August 2025, she filed for divorce after more than 12 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
The couple costarred on the sci-fi series The Resistance in 2010 and the 2013 Hallmark Channel movie Snow Bride.
Law and Andreen share a daughter, Kinley, born in December 2018.
Michael Weatherly and Bojana Jankovic

Michael Weatherly, who portrayed special agent Anthony DiNozzo on NCIS for 13 seasons, wed Bojana Janković in 2009 after they met at a bar in Vancouver, Canada, about two years prior.
After leaving the series in 2016, Weatherly told PEOPLE that his kids were “very excited” to spend more time with him.
The actor shares daughter Olivia and son Liam with Janković. He is also a dad to son August, whom he shares with his ex-wife, actress Amelia Heinle. The pair were married from 1995 to 1997.
Cote de Pablo

De Pablo was last romantically linked to actor Diego Serrano.
Sasha Alexander and Edoardo Ponti
