Fans of the hit medical drama The Good Doctor were left stunned after beloved star Freddie Highmore casually confirmed that he is officially a married man.
During a television appearance, the actor surprised viewers when the host noticed a ring on his finger and asked about it. Highmore smiled and calmly replied that it was indeed a wedding ring.
“Yes, I got married,” he admitted.
The actor explained that he had kept the news private for some time and preferred not to make a big public announcement about his personal life.
Highmore also shared that his wife is British like him, though he decided not to reveal her identity publicly.
The actor joked that he felt a bit strange using the term “my wife,” saying it sounded too formal and possessive.
