A New Threat Emerges as ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Season 15 Returns md14

Chris O’Donnell is stepping into a new role in “9-1-1 Nashville,” marking his return to television following the conclusion of “NCIS: Los Angeles.”

In the upcoming series, he plays Captain Dan Hart, a dedicated firefighter working in the heart of Tennessee.

The job required a significant change for O’Donnell, who relocated to Nashville for the project.

Speaking with Extra, the actor said the move brought a refreshing change after spending 14 years working in Los Angeles.

The transition also came during a difficult period when his family had to leave their Pacific Palisades home due to destructive wildfires. They were displaced for eight months before eventually returning as rebuilding efforts continue.

While settling into Nashville, O’Donnell had help discovering the city thanks to his co-star LeAnn Rimes, who knows the area well.

Beyond firefighting scenes, the series also sees his character participating in rodeo riding, something new for the actor.

O’Donnell even joked about past experiences with horses, recalling how his former co-star Charlie Sheen once disliked working with them while filming “The Three Musketeers.”
