Actress Rachael Carpani has died at 45 after battling a chronic illness, her family confirmed.
Carpani appeared in the first season of the CBS series NCIS: Los Angeles and was also well known in Australia for her role as Jodi Fountain on the popular drama McLeod’s Daughters.
Her sister Georgia Carpani announced the news in a Dec. 14 Instagram post, sharing that the actress passed away on Dec. 7.
In addition to television, Carpani appeared in several films and most recently had a role in the Australian soap opera Home and Away. She also appeared in the 2020 film The Way Back starring Ben Affleck.
