Actress Rachael Carpani, known for her appearance in NCIS: Los Angeles and her long-running role in the Australian drama McLeod’s Daughters, has died at the age of 45.
Her sister, Georgia Carpani, shared the news in an Instagram post on Dec. 14, revealing that the actress passed away on Dec. 7 after battling a chronic illness.
Carpani appeared in the first season of NCIS: Los Angeles in 2009. She was also widely recognized in Australia for playing Jodi Fountain on McLeod’s Daughters from 2001 to 2009.
In addition to television, she appeared in several films, including Ben Affleck’s 2020 sports drama The Way Back. She most recently had a role in the Australian soap opera Home and Away.
