Television actress Rachael Carpani has died at the age of 45.
The news was shared by her family, who said she passed away on December 7 after battling a chronic illness. In 2021, Carpani had previously spoken about undergoing surgery following severe abdominal pain.
Carpani gained widespread attention in Australia through her long-running role on McLeod’s Daughters. She also appeared in the first season of NCIS: Los Angeles and more recently in Home and Away.
Her career spanned both television and film, including a role in Ben Affleck’s The Way Back.
