The former Big Bang Theory actor told The i Paper that he regularly uses GoFundMe to anonymously pay medical bills for families struggling with healthcare costs.
“Money doesn’t feel like a burden,” Nayyar said. “It feels like a grace from the universe.”

The actor is reportedly worth $45 million, according to Fortune, after earning up to $1 million per episode during the later seasons of The Big Bang Theory.
In the interview, Nayyar emphasized that meaningful change begins with everyday acts of kindness rather than political leadership. “No one is going to come and change the world for you,” he said.
Nayyar starred as Rajesh Koothrappali across all 12 seasons of the sitcom, which concluded in 2019. The show later produced successful spinoffs, including Young Sheldon and Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
Since the series ended, Nayyar has appeared in Night Court alongside former costar Melissa Rauch and in films such as How to Date Billy Walsh and Spaceman.
