Netflix has officially released the trailer for Virgin River Season 7, offering fans a heartfelt preview of what’s next for Mel and Jack. The footage arrives roughly a month after the premiere date was confirmed and more than a year after Season 6 concluded with the couple’s long-awaited wedding.
Season 7 will focus heavily on Mel and Jack’s journey toward adoption. After enduring years of fertility struggles and a devastating miscarriage in Season 5, the couple appears ready to grow their family in a new way. The trailer also teases their honeymoon, marking a rare moment of joy following seasons filled with emotional challenges.
However, the process is far from simple. Although Mel initially tells Jack that Marley wants them to be the baby’s parents, Marley later admits she needs more time to decide. As Jack grows frustrated, Mel remains cautious, reminding him that the baby is “not ours yet.”
Beyond Mel and Jack, the trailer also highlights evolving storylines for Doc and Hope, Preacher and Kaia, and Lizzie and Denny as they prepare for parenthood. Virgin River Season 7 premieres March 12, 2026.
