Kaley Cuoco has revealed a Botox mishap during The Big Bang Theory that left her face frozen and nearly derailed her comedy timing.
Speaking candidly, the actress explained she decided to try Botox midway through the show’s run, opting for forehead injections just before filming an important scene. The result was disastrous — her forehead wouldn’t move at all.
“I was doing the jokes, but nothing moved,” Kaley recalled, admitting she was shocked no one mentioned it at the time. “I couldn’t believe how bad it looked.”
Although she still uses Botox today, Kaley says she now avoids her forehead completely. The experience taught her to be far more cautious with cosmetic treatments, especially while working on a physically expressive role like Penny.
Now promoting her appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Kaley also joked that her fiancé Tom Pelphrey remains unfamiliar with the sitcom that made her a household name — and teased that Penny’s story may not be finished just yet.
