Golden Bachelorette won’t air for months, but blogger Reality Steve has already revealed one of Joan’s contestants and fans of the franchise know him. Keep reading for all the details.
Golden Bachelorette Contestant Has Connections To Franchise
ABC announced in February that the Golden Bachelorette was happening. In May, the network revealed Joan Vassos as the first-ever Golden Bachelorette. Meanwhile, Kelsey Anderson’s dad, Mark, made waves when he appeared on Season 28 of The Bachelor during hometown dates.
Bachelor Nation fans immediately started demanding Mark as the next Golden Bachelor after Gerry Turner’s failed season. The network has yet to renew Golden Bachelor for another season, but Kelsey Anderson encouraged her dad to apply as a Golden Bachelorette contestant.
Bachelor Nation alum Tyler Cameron also threw a name out for the next Golden Bachelor – his father, Jeff. However, Tyler was clear that he wouldn’t want his dad on the Golden Bachelorette.
Joan Vassos’ started filming the spinoff last month. Reality Steve spoiled that one of the contestants does have connections to the franchise. Who is it?
The blogger revealed that his sources have informed him that Mark Anderson is indeed a contestant on The Golden Bachelorette.
How Far Does He Make It?
ABC likely won’t officially release the names of the Golden Bachelorette contestants until later this summer. They may wait until after Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette season is over so they don’t draw attention away from it.
Reality Steve spilled more details about what he knows about the Golden Bachelorette season. According to Screen Rant, the spoiler guru revealed that Mark Anderson gets a one-on-one date with Joan Vassos.
That means, at the very least, that he didn’t go home on the first night like Matt James’ mom, Patty, did on The Golden Bachelor.
Fans will have to wait a bit to find out if Mark Anderson ends up with Joan Vassos or not. If he doesn’t, he always has Susan Noles waiting in the wings. Or he could be a shoo-in for the next Golden Bachelor.
ABC has revealed that the Joan Vassos-led spinoff will air Wednesdays this fall. However, they haven’t shared more details than that just yet.
In the meantime, Bachelor Nation fans can watch Jenn Tran’s journey to love. New episodes of The Bachelorette air Mondays at 8 PM Eastern on ABC and stream on Hulu the next day.
