Kaley Cuoco is opening up about a cosmetic mistake she made during her time on The Big Bang Theory. Appearing on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, the actress revealed that getting Botox in her forehead left her shocked by how her face looked on camera.
“I did my forehead and all this stuff, and I was so excited,” Cuoco said. But days later, while filming a scene that required strong facial expressions, she realized she couldn’t move her face properly. “I was literally doing these jokes and nothing moved. My forehead didn’t move, and it looked like I was trying to move it.”
The experience made her rethink her approach. “That’s when I thought, ‘Whoa… let’s calm it down,’” she said, explaining that she no longer gets Botox in her forehead.
While Cuoco still enjoys Botox in moderation — including around her eyes and neck — she emphasized that facial expression is essential for her acting. The actress has long been open about cosmetic enhancements and previously shared that she’s had breast augmentation surgeries, calling them one of her best decisions.
