We’re all excited about NCIS season 23 returning to our screens. Sure, we need to wait until March, but there is a lot to look forward to with the return of Bishop.
The NCIS season 23 fall finale made it clear that Knight would need to search for Bishop and bring her in. This is the first time Bishop will return to the screen after she left during season 19, where she ended up working with Ziva’s former handler, Odette.
While it looks like there will be somewhat of a manhunt for Bishop, the images that have been released have also somewhat spoiled Bishop’s fate.

Bishop is hugging Kasie in the NCIS season 23 images
There’s one image that stands out, and that’s Bishop hugging Kasie at the NCIS HQ. If Bishop had been brought in for questioning, there is no way that she would have been able to get down to Kasie’s lab. This hints that Bishop is going to be able to leave on good terms, and it’s possible that everything that she’s wanted for will have been worked out.
It is a shame that the show would spoil this, and that doesn’t really make sense. Which does lead to a suggestion that Bishop is actually quickly hugging Kasie because Kasie is helping her with a new identity or a new way to hide.
Bishop and Torres share a sweet moment on NCIS season 23 episode 10
The new trailer for the episode also spoils something. There’s a short clip of Bishop and Torres in bed together.
We know from the synopsis that Bishop turns to Torres for help, and that makes sense. Out of all the people at NCIS, Bishop and Torres shared a bond, and we waited years for them to get together, only for Bishop to end up leaving — intending to do it without even saying goodbye.
It looks like they may end up picking up where they left off. When Bishop left, she did kiss Torres, but they didn’t keep in touch. Torres had more and more questions about his former love interest after she left, and now there is a chance for answers. It looks like those answers will be satisfactory for him if he ends up in bed with her!
How will Knight deal with this? After all, there’s sure to be a feeling of betrayal, considering Torres is helping the woman Knight is supposed to apprehend. They will all come face-to-face in the episode, so it’s not like this is going to turn into a big cat-and-mouse chase.
NCIS season 23 returns on Tuesday, March 3 at 8/7c on CBS.
