The Big Bang Theory Is Back Again — Season 13 Movie Teased md14

Even years after The Big Bang Theory ended, Kaley Cuoco says one cast connection has never faded.

During a February 5 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the actress revealed that while there isn’t an active Big Bang Theory group chat, she remains in constant contact with Johnny Galecki, who played her longtime on-screen love interest, Leonard Hofstadter.

“There’s one with me and Johnny,” Cuoco shared. “All the time.”

Cuoco and Galecki famously dated in real life for nearly two years during the early seasons of the CBS sitcom, keeping their romance private while portraying Penny and Leonard’s will-they-won’t-they relationship on screen. The two later opened up about their relationship in Jessica Radloff’s 2022 book The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story.

Cuoco previously admitted she developed a crush on Galecki early in the show’s run and said the pair chose secrecy to protect the audience’s investment in their characters. Despite their breakup in 2009, both actors have emphasized that there was no drama — and that their friendship quickly followed.

Galecki has since described Cuoco as one of the most important relationships of his life, praising their lasting bond.

Cuoco also recently hinted that fans may see Penny again. In a January 2026 Entertainment Tonight interview, she teased a possible appearance in the upcoming spin-off Stuart Fails To Save The Universe, saying with a smile, “Big eyes. I don’t know what that tells you.”
